This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer based in Sweden.
Join an international banking project where you will help shape how cloud platforms are consumed through a modern self-service approach. You will design and implement a reusable “golden path” that enables development and platform teams to provision and manage cloud infrastructure efficiently. The role combines AWS, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, automation, security, networking, and governance. You will influence both the technical architecture and the developer experience surrounding the platform. Working across teams and projects, you’ll have the autonomy to establish scalable engineering practices and delivery standards. This is a fully remote opportunity within a collaborative international environment, with immediate or near-term availability preferred.

Accountabilities
- Design and implement a self-service cloud “golden path” using Terraform and automation.
- Develop reusable Infrastructure-as-Code components supporting account onboarding, workload deployment, and connectivity.
- Integrate security, networking, governance, compliance, and operational controls into the platform experience.
- Define and improve the developer and platform team experience for consuming the golden path.
- Establish controlled processes for building, testing, releasing, and promoting platform code across environments.
- Create clear documentation covering the usage, maintenance, and support model for reusable Terraform components.
- Validate the golden path through a selected pilot application and use the findings to improve the solution.
- Collaborate with technical teams and consultants working across multiple projects and timelines.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with AWS Cloud.
- Strong practical experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with automation and CI/CD practices and tooling.
- Solid understanding of Git and modern software development workflows.
- Experience with Platform Engineering is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of cloud security, particularly AWS IAM, is highly valued.
- Understanding of AWS networking concepts, including VPCs, routing, and connectivity.
- Familiarity with governance and compliance requirements in cloud environments.
- Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
- Fluent English, with at least B2 proficiency in speaking, writing, and listening.
- French language skills are considered an advantage.
- Strong communication, autonomy, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Comfortable managing responsibilities across multiple projects and collaborating with consultants working on different timelines.
- Availability to start immediately or within approximately two weeks is preferred.
