Senior JavaScript Engineer

Ciklum is looking for a Senior JavaScript Engineer to join our team full-time in India.

About the role:

As a Senior JavaScript Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. Together, we will work on the project Phase 2 Customer Expansion: Design, build, and deploy the next-generation, customer-facing RemitIntel Application.

Responsibilities:

• Architecture & Design: Collaborate with cross-functional US and vendor teams to define software requirements and translate them into scalable frontend architectures
• Core Development: Engineer high-quality, reusable components and services using Angular (11+), TypeScript, and RxJS, ensuring strict adherence to clean code principles
• Code Quality & Governance: Lead the pull-request process and code reviews to maintain low bug rates and ensure production-grade reliability
• System Lifecycle Management: Manage the full application lifecycle, from initial requirements analysis and debugging to deployment and continuous refactoring
• Agile Integration: Drive delivery within an Agile/SCRUM framework, providing transparent task updates and ensuring alignment between onshore and offshore teams
• Cross-Border Collaboration: Maintain high-touch communication with US counterparts, including staggered shift availability (2pm–11pm) during critical design and delivery phases

Requirements:

• Frontend Expertise: 6+ years of hands-on experience with JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3, with a minimum of 2 years dedicated to TypeScript
• Angular Mastery: 2+ years of experience with Angular 11+ component architecture, including directives, pipes, and migration strategies to newer versions
• Advanced State & Logic: Proficiency in RxJS operators and state management libraries such as NgXs
• Monorepo & Tooling: Proven experience with Nx (Nrwl) for monorepo management and proficiency in Git/Git hooks via terminal/PowerShell
• UI Frameworks: Hands-on experience with Kendo UI, Angular Material, or SpreadJS libraries
• Communication: Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with a proven ability to interface effectively with international (US) technical teams
