PHP Angular Developer

We are looking for a Software Engineer with 3–5 years of professional experience in PHP and Angular to join our technology team in Dubai.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in PHP/Laravel and Angular, with a good understanding of building scalable web applications, REST APIs, database-driven applications, and modern software development practices.

You will work closely with product, technology, and business teams to design, develop, enhance, and maintain web-based applications and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP/Laravel and Angular.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for internal and external applications.
• Build responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Develop robust backend services and business logic using PHP and Laravel.
• Design, optimize, and work with SQL databases.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services as required.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across frontend and backend components.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with other developers, QA, product, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Contribute to application performance, security, scalability, and reliability improvements.
• Support deployment, maintenance, and production issue resolution when required.
• Stay updated with relevant technologies, frameworks, and development practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with PHP.
• Good practical experience with Laravel or a similar PHP framework.
• Strong experience with Angular.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming and software development principles.
• Experience with Git/version control.
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a development team.

Good to Have

• Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with API authentication mechanisms such as OAuth or JWT.
• Knowledge of application security and secure coding practices.
• Experience with Docker or cloud environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Exposure to automated testing and unit/integration testing.
