IT & DevOps Trainee

We are looking for a part-time student for the position of IT & DevOps Trainee in our R&D Center in Prague. As a trainee, you will be linked to our team of software and system engineers in the Department of Driving Software of Products and Services.

We have a cluster for the validation of a system for data processing in order to validate ADAS systems. You will be responsible for the maintenance of this cluster, including Level 1 and Level 2 support tasks, failure diagnostics, corrective actions, and scripting, including the automation of everyday activities.

YOUR CHALLENGES?

• Provide IT support to the development team
• Bring up new computational nodes
• Administer the Elasticsearch database
• Manage the computational cluster, including automation, load balancing, and evolution
• Automate the cluster, develop scripts, and optimize the use of computational resources
• Find space for your creative technical solutions
• Cooperate with the local IT department
• Gain an introduction to everyday business tasks and valuable experience at the beginning of your career
• Ramp up our Linux-related activities

LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU...

• Student of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in the field of Computer Science, preferably in the 3rd year of studies
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Batch, Groovy)
• Interest in Linux (Ubuntu) with active hands-on experience
• Basic experience with Python is an advantage (scripting)
• Active, hands-on approach
• Good level of English to communicate within international teams
