Summary:
The Epicor Kinetic Senior Business Analyst is responsible for supporting, optimizing, and enhancing the company’s Epicor Kinetic ERP system across all THI, Oilgear, and Hydromotion locations. This role goes well beyond technical configuration: the Senior Business Analyst is expected to spend time on-site at each location, sit and embed directly with departments (Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Service, Engineering, and others), and observe, document, and build out the internal processes the ERP supports. The role requires strong functional knowledge of Epicor, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive, hands-on approach to user support and system optimization. The Senior Business Analyst provides direct support to end users across all company sites and manages the Business Analyst — overseeing daily tasks, providing mentorship, and conducting performance reviews. Working closely with leadership and end users, this position shapes existing workflows and develops new ones, with a focus on improving future business performance through effective, standardized ERP utilization across the enterprise.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide day-to-day user support and training for the Epicor Kinetic ERP system across all THI, Oilgear, and Hydromotion locations.
- Travel to and sit on-site with each location to observe operations firsthand, understand site-specific needs, and build working relationships with end users and leadership.
- Embed with departments (Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Service, Engineering, etc.) to document current-state workflows, identify gaps, and design and build improved processes internally.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ERP-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with departments to identify system improvements and implement solutions.
- Develop and maintain BAQs, dashboards, reports, BPMs, and customizations as required.
- Develop, coordinate, and implement test plans with super users for functional changes, bug fixes, enhancements, patches, and upgrades.
- Coordinate with Epicor support and third-party vendors when necessary.
- Participate in steering committee meetings to keep business leaders and stakeholders updated on business process improvement initiatives.
- Assist with data migrations, integrations, and system configuration.
- Standardize and document processes, system architecture, and changes across all sites.
- Manage, mentor, and support the Business Analyst reporting to this role
- Assign tasks, set priorities, and provide guidance to ensure alignment with ERP goals and business initiatives.
- Conduct regular check-ins and annual performance reviews for the Business Analyst.
