* Manager, Business Intelligence & Analytics

About The Role

The role leads selected analyses, develops common tools and standards, and turns market and internal data into clear recommendations that strengthen opportunity assessment, business planning and management decision-making.

What You Will Deliver

1. Business and Market Intelligence

• Lead the analysis of relevant market, customer, competitor, portfolio, sales and industry information for Business Development priorities.

• Interpret complex or incomplete data, identify key trends and translate findings into practical business implications.

• Present concise insights and recommendations to Business Development leadership, management and cross-functional stakeholders.

2. Business and Opportunity Analysis

• Partner with Business Development Managers to frame business questions and lead analytical workstreams for selected opportunities.

• Develop market assessments, opportunity sizing, forecasts and scenarios appropriate to the business question and available evidence.

• Prepare clear analytical inputs and recommendations for business cases, proposals and internal reviews.

• Coordinate with subject-matter experts to validate assumptions, challenge conclusions and identify information gaps.

3. Business Development Analytics Center of Excellence

• Establish practical analytical standards, methodologies, templates and ways of working for the Business Development team.

• Maintain reusable analytical tools, reference materials and knowledge that improve consistency and reduce duplicated effort.

• Review the quality and consistency of key data, assumptions and analytical outputs used in management and proposal materials.

• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting and practical automation, and share good practices across the team.

4. Stakeholder Management and Confidentiality

• Align priorities and workload with the Business Development Director and provide transparent progress updates.

• Work across relevant functions to coordinate inputs, resolve data issues and deliver agreed assignments on time.

• Build analytical capability within the Business Development team through guidance, knowledge sharing and practical support.

• Handle sensitive information in accordance with company confidentiality and data-governance requirements.

What You Bring

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Finance, Statistics, Data Analytics or a related field. A postgraduate qualification is an advantage.

Experience

• Five or more years of relevant experience in business intelligence, commercial analytics, market research, business planning, commercial excellence, consulting or a related role.

• Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals or another data-driven commercial environment is preferred; experience supporting Business Development is an advantage.

• Demonstrated experience managing analytical assignments and working with senior stakeholders.

Skills and Capabilities

• Strong business judgment and analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous questions and synthesize information from different sources.

• Ability to translate complex analysis into clear recommendations for management audiences.

• Strong working knowledge of AI. Experience with Power BI, data visualization or commercial databases is an advantage.

• Ability to establish common standards, influence without direct authority and communicate clearly in English and Vietnamese.

• Independent, collaborative and detail-conscious, with the confidence to challenge constructively and handle confidential information appropriately.
