QA QC Engineer

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our Site Supervision team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with project quality requirements across transportation, roads, infrastructure, and utility projects.

As a QA/QC Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring that construction activities are executed in accordance with approved specifications, standards, procedures, and contractual requirements. Working closely with the Resident Engineer, Contractor, Client, and Stakeholders, you will support the successful delivery of major infrastructure and utility projects in Abu Dhabi.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and verify construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality plans, and applicable standards.
• Review and inspect materials, workmanship, testing activities, and construction processes.
• Witness site inspections, quality tests, and commissioning activities as required.
• Review and track Inspection Requests (IRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), and related quality documentation.
• Identify non-conformance issues and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain quality records, inspection logs, testing reports, and audit documentation.
• Coordinate with the Contractor and project stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues.
• Conduct quality audits and support project quality assessments.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, local authority standards, and project quality objectives.
• Prepare quality reports and provide regular updates to the project management team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in QA/QC roles within transportation, roads, infrastructure, and utility projects.
• Strong Abu Dhabi project experience is essential.
• Proven experience working with Engineering Consultants or Supervision Consultants.
• Thorough understanding of quality management systems, inspection procedures, and construction quality control processes.
• Experience with material approvals, testing, inspections, NCRs, audits, and quality documentation.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Familiarity with Abu Dhabi and UAE construction standards and specifications.
• Proficiency in preparing quality reports and construction documentation.
