Senior Flutter Developer

This is a remote position.

We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a senior Flutter developer. Someone who is passionate about code writing, solving technical errors, and taking up full ownership of app development.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, and demonstrated team player. You will be a developer responsible for developing new software products and enhancements to existing products. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.

• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, including ideation, design, development, and deployment.

• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code.

• Ensure designs comply with specifications.

• Prepare and produce releases of software components and packages.

• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Work with outside data sources and APIs.

• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.

• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.

Qualifications:

• Proven software development experience and Flutter skills development.

• Proven working experience in Flutter development and Dart programming.

• Have published one or more mobile apps in Google Play or App Store.

• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.

• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.

• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle, including automated testing and building.

• Experience working in an agile development process.

• Understanding of Material Design and iOS Human Interface Guidelines.

• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively on shared projects with designers, testers, and other developers.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with generic state management techniques in Flutter.

• Knowledge of RESTful APIs to connect Flutter applications to back-end services.

• Experience with third-party services and platforms such as Firebase, AWS Amplify, Google Cloud Platform, and other cloud-based solutions.

• Familiarity with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) practices.

• Understanding of secure coding practices.
