In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and maintaining testing activities across functional and integrated systems
. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, product teams, and other QA engineers to identify issues early, improve test coverage, and strengthen our automation and testing practices.

- 3+ years of experience in software testing / QA engineering, with at least 2 years of hands-on automation experience.
- Mandatory experience working on banking, fintech, financial services, or financial product applications.
- Strong hands-on experience in automation testing using Java.
- Experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks.
Technical Skills• Strong knowledge of Java-based test automation.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, or similar automation frameworks.
- Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with defect and test management tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Good understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
- Experience with functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools to support QA activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse user stories, requirements, and design documents to define comprehensive test scenarios.
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases covering functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Build, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks and scripts using Java and tools such as Selenium or Playwright.
- Perform API and integration testing to validate system interactions and data flows.
- Identify, document, track, and manage defects through resolution using appropriate bug-tracking tools.
- Work closely with developers, product teams, and business stakeholders to investigate and resolve issues.
- Support non-functional testing, including performance, security, and usability testing, where required.
- Contribute to QA strategy, test documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement of testing processes.
- Explore and use AI-assisted tools to improve testing efficiency, test coverage, documentation, and overall QA productivity.
