Description and Requirements

We are hiring a Server Security Technical Project Manager (TPM) in the ThinkSystem Development organization which is part of Lenovo’s Infrastructure Solutions Product Group (ISG) based in Morrisville, North Carolina. This is an exciting role in the Server I/O Development organization that has a strong focus to be the #1

Trusted IT Partner in the Datacenter. The Project Manager in this role will support the Server I/O development team new product introduction and on-going sustainment engineering. The products managed by the I/O team include Networking, GPU, HDD/SSD, RAID/HBA technologies. This role will lead cross-functional project management activities supporting Lenovo’s EU Cyber Resilience Act cybersecurity reporting readiness. Coordinate development teams, suppliers, and Product Security to ensure reportable vulnerabilities and severe incidents are rapidly assessed, escalated, and supported with accurate technical information. Track actions, risks, dependencies, and readiness against CRA reporting timelines, including the 24-hour early warning and 72-hour detailed notification requirements. Drive closure of gaps involving product-component information, affected versions, SBOMs, supplier security information, mitigations, and investigation findings. Provide clear governance, status reporting, and stakeholder coordination to help Lenovo meet its CRA obligations and maintain rapid response to cybersecurity events.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar degree
  • 5+ years of project management execution
  • Experience in leading engineers/team wrt technical project execution, product development security
  • Strong organizational skills to lead server I/O project management within cross functional teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for a variety of tasks, including customer engagements, partner negotiation and management/executive project status updates

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP Certification
  • 5+ years of experience in server/storage development
  • Experience with projects including server hardware, firmware and software
  • Demonstrated leadership on a project with engineering team members located in multiple geographies
  • Business acumen to engage with various functional teams required to take projects from concept to production
