FullStack Developer- Java, Angular

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java and Angular to join a technology-focused team in Glasgow. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performing applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, developers, and QA teams.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Perform unit, integration, and automated testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design decisions.
• Support continuous integration and delivery practices.
• Ensure applications meet security, performance, and quality standards.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Strong commercial experience in Java development.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and RESTful web services.
• Strong experience with Angular and TypeScript.
• Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development.
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL.
• Knowledge of software development best practices and design patterns.
• Experience with Git and Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD tools.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with messaging technologies and event-driven systems.
• Understanding of secure software development and application performance tuning.
