Full description

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Build and enhance microservices-based architectures for scalable enterprise applications.
  • Work closely with architects, frontend engineers, DevOps, and QA to deliver robust, secure, and high‑performing solutions.

2. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Spring Boot.
  • Design and implement microservices with proper separation of concerns and domain-driven design.
  • Integrate services with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and external systems.
  • Implement security, authentication, and authorization (Spring Security, OAuth2/JWT).
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, and estimation.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code following best practices.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for services and APIs.
  • Collaborate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues; provide L3 support as needed.
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) for deployments.
  • Ensure proper logging, monitoring, and alerting for microservices.

3. Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–7 years of experience in Java backend development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:• Java 8+
  • Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA
  • Microservices architecture
  • Experience in:• Building and consuming REST APIs
  • Relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
  • At least one NoSQL database (MongoDB, Redis, etc.) – preferred
  • Good understanding of:• Spring Security, OAuth2/JWT
  • Message queues / event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
  • Unit and integration testing (JUnit, Mockito, etc.)
  • Familiarity with:• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.)
  • Version control (Git)
  • Docker, Kubernetes (preferred)
