The Role:

The Odom Corporation is seeking a System Administrator I to join our Information Systems team.

This position supports the day-to-day operation, security, and reliability of the Company's technology environment, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, endpoint management, backup systems, and related infrastructure. Working closely with Information Systems team members, business users, vendors, and managed service providers, you will help ensure that employees across multiple locations have the technology tools and support they need to succeed.

What You'll Do:

Infrastructure & Cloud Operations

  • Assist with administration and maintenance of Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and related infrastructure
  • Support system upgrades, patching, and approved infrastructure changes
  • Monitor system health and assist in resolving reliability and performance issues
  • Help maintain secure and stable technology services across the organization

Microsoft 365 & End-User Platforms

  • Support Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune-managed devices, and related technologies
  • Troubleshoot access, authentication, permissions, and device-related issues
  • Assist users with escalated technical support requests
  • Support user, device, and account administration activities

Backup, Recovery & Cybersecurity

  • Monitor backup and recovery processes and assist in resolving exceptions
  • Participate in restoration testing and disaster recovery activities
  • Support patch management, vulnerability remediation, and security initiatives
  • Help maintain compliance with Company security standards and controls

Service Management & Documentation

  • Document incidents, requests, changes, and resolutions using approved service-management practices
  • Assist with troubleshooting and root-cause analysis activities
  • Maintain technical documentation, inventories, knowledge articles, and procedures
  • Communicate clearly with users and stakeholders regarding support activities

Projects, Vendors & Site Support

  • Participate in technology upgrades, implementations, and improvement initiatives
  • Support warehouse, office, and operational technology projects as needed
  • Assist with automation and process-improvement opportunities
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and operational excellence

What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant experience
  • Experience supporting technology systems, devices, applications, or infrastructure in a business or educational environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn new technologies and work effectively in a collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, Windows Server, Intune, or related technologies
  • Experience supporting users in a multi-site environment
  • Technical certifications such as Microsoft, ITIL, CompTIA Network+, or CompTIA Security+
  • Experience developing documentation, procedures, or automation solutions

Job Details:

  • Salary range $75,000 - $90,000 (DOE)
  • Up to 128 hours of Paid Time Off Annually to start (16 days)

Work Environment

  • Work is primarily performed in an office environment but may also occur in warehouses and other company locations
  • Hybrid work arrangements may be available based on business requirements and Company policy

  • Scheduled maintenance, after-hours support, and emergency response activities may occasionally be required
  • Occasional travel of less than 10% may be required based on business needs
