Position Summary

SHR Consulting Group is seeking a QA Engineer - Mid to support quality assurance for FEMA cloud-hosted applications, ensuring system reliability, compliance, and readiness for deployment within DevSecOps environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop test plans, test cases, and automated scripts.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Ensure compliance with FEMA SELC and FedRAMP requirements.
  • Document defects, track remediation, and perform root cause analysis.
  • Maintain automated testing frameworks.

Minimum Requirements:

  • More than 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.).
  • Understanding of CI/CD and cloud-based testing.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Agile or ISTQB preferred.

Security Clearance

  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust. Active Public Trust is preferred. FEMA Public Trust is highly preferred.

Work Environment

  • Remote.
  • Candidates residing in the DC Metro Area preferred.

Salary Range 105,000 – 115,000 USD. The salary range represents a general guideline; SHR considers a number of factors when determining the base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position, and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
