  • Configuration Engineer

Location: Bangalore / Gurgaon Notice Period: 0-60days Shift: Night Shift / US Shift Experience Required: 4–12 years

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, administer, and support physical security systems, including video surveillance, access control, and integrated security platforms.
  • Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security management solutions such as Milestone, LenelS2, DMP, or similar platforms.
  • Monitor system health, performance, and availability to ensure uninterrupted security operations.
  • Manage patching, upgrades, and configuration management activities across security systems and associated infrastructure.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to IP-based security systems, access control devices, cameras, and integrated applications.
  • Handle escalations and coordinate with OEM vendors, field service teams, and internal stakeholders for timely issue resolution.
  • Support system integration activities between security platforms, network infrastructure, and third-party applications.
  • Maintain technical documentation, configuration records, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
  • Participate in incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards, security policies, and change management processes.

Mandatory Skills

Physical Security & Access Control Systems

  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Milestone
  • LenelS2
  • DMP
  • Similar Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) or Access Control Systems
  • Experience supporting:
  • Video Surveillance Systems (VMS)
  • Access Control Systems
  • IP-Based Security Solutions

Networking & System Integration

  • Strong understanding of networking concepts.
  • Knowledge of IP-based security devices and architectures.
  • Experience with system integration between security platforms and enterprise systems.

Operations & Support

  • Monitoring and Event Management.
  • Patch Management.
  • Configuration Management.
  • Incident and Escalation Management.
  • Vendor/OEM Coordination.
  • Technical Documentation and Reporting.
