Hill International has awarded a strategic adviser services project for the development phase of a heavy-duty CCGT project in Ukraine. We are currently seeking for our remote project’s team which will be based outside of Ukraine:
Engineering & Delivery Advisor
Reports: Senior Strategic Director
Location: Services will be provided remotely
Duration: 750 Manhours input for one year
We are seeking Engineering & Delivery Advisor for providing multidisciplinary engineering oversight and delivery assurance from concept through OEM selection, EPC tendering and contract preparation and construction readiness.

Responsibilities
- Review project design basis and owner’s technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain the engineering execution strategy.
- Support the Technical evaluation of OEMs/EPCs
- Coordinate civil, mechanical, electrical, I&C, and balance-of-plant disciplines.
- Review FEED documentation and identify optimization opportunities.
- Verify constructability and delivery schedules.
- Review grid connection philosophy and auxiliary systems.
- Support interface management between OEM, EPC contractor, and utility.
- Monitor engineering progress, quality, and technical risks.
- Support commissioning and operational readiness planning.
- Advise on lessons learned and best practices from international CCGT projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or civil engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven previous experience in at least 2 CCGT projects.
- Previous working experience at the power plant sector in Eastern Europe
- Previous working experience in Ukraine will be considered an asset
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
